Waiting with anticipation all week long to celebrate the life of a woman that has really helped my family out a lot took a lot out of me this week.
I wanted so much for her to know that she is loved, needed, and celebrated in this life. Breast cancer may have taken her ta ta (s) but it did not take her Sexy! (that was the logo on the tshirt that I had printed up for her)
Betty was thoroughly surprised, she had no clue, but she shed tears of joy as she saw 25 people waiting on her in Romeo's Restaurant in Decatur on Friday. She smiled like I have not seen her smile in months. She was a ray of sunshine in that place on Friday. She was loved on, hugged, and showered with gifts and words of encouragement from her friends, family, and former co-workers. How blessed she truly is.
