I am particularly inspired about my husband tonight. He is no sissy man, he is a man of all men! He works hard all day only to come home and help cook, take care of his babies and his wife, and he watches the kids when I need some "me" time (most of the time without complaining).
He spends all his free time trying to make me and our boys happy. For instance,a couple of weeks ago I was having a particularly rough day and he tried to surprise me with a rose on my car. Except I left early to get across town to wash my car and missed him and the surprise. What a loser I felt like. I get home and find my man chasing our kiddos around the house and a beautiful long-stemmed rose on my counter top.
He also spends a lot of time volunteering, without complaining, at our church. He truly has a servant's heart and I admire him for that. He never ceases to amaze me with his patience and his easy temper when I have screwed up. God truly did design us in Heaven as opposites meant to be drawn together. I forget that sometimes when I get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life of a hectic career, rowdy boys, errands that need to be ran, and a household that requires constant attention.
I just thank God for husbands like Jeremy that no matter what continue to love, trust, and honor a crazy, sometimes non-deserving wife like me. We all feel inadequate at times. I know that next to my two children, Jeremy is my biggest fan and cheerleader. I struggle to live up to his expectations and hope that I can create an environment only he would love.
I love you Jeremy. God Bless men like you.
